Strength Training for Athletes

I design individualized training programs appropriate to the demands of an athlete’s particular sport. My Functional Movement Screen combined with a disclosure of previous injuries can help to determine imbalances and weaknesses that must be corrected to prevent further injuries and make the athlete move more efficiently in their chosen sport. When we create structural balance we can then move to the strength building phase which will increase power and speed.
Increasing strength and mobility will improve performance in nearly every sport, but the increase must meet the demands of the specific sport.
I will help you avoid both over-training and under-training, and I will show you how to increase your strength without sacrificing speed and agility and flexibility.
